Uh, I can't believe how long it has been since I posted here. I continue to be really busy. We just launched http://www.saboteurmusique.com and I'm really happy about it. I got another track out called "H Muet" with The Brash and it's going to be on a Boris (the beer) compilation CD. They're going to distribute it in the twelve packs I think. I'm pretty happy about that. Also nearly finished the best track I've ever produced with KidFreq - yes, we're back. A few more tweaks and we'll be putting that online for download. So busy, haven't had time to post and keep you all up to date. Speaking of which, the track on this page is getting real old. It's nice... but old.
Sept 24th, 2007:

Spent most of the summer working on a game contract (http://www.mindhabits.com) just to pay the bills but managed to find time to work on The Brash album and some more A Piece of Us tracks. The Brash is releasing a single on the next Saboteur Musique compilation called "Lady Cop" featuring DJ Maus (http://www.djmaus.com/). Sounds awesome. :) Comp is due out sometime in November. The album is almost done but we decided that we were going to let the single sit for a while and fine tune the 15 tracks we have for the album to make them all exceptional. If they aren't, what's the point?
June 11th, 2007:

Very busy these days. I've been mixing "A Piece of Us"'s album and it has been a long hard learning process. I've been at it since December... Although I never want to have to mix an entire album again, I'm very happy about what I've learned and look forward to applying it to our live shows. Computers today are able to do pretty much pro studio quality mixes in real time. What does that mean? Means we can play on stage and sound like we're in a studio...
Anyways, for those of you that want to hear the latest, check the myspace page for "a piece of us".
I'm also working on "The Brash". Very happy with the way that's been turning out as well. In all likelyhood, you'll be hearing tracks from "The Brash" on a compilation CD or two before christmas.

WE FOUND A NAME!
a Piece of Us
Working on the website now. This is the band I've been working on for over 2 years now. I'm really excited about the tracks. Check back there soon...
March 1st, 2007:

I'm back from an amazing and very liberating trip down south (I wasn't yet in high school when I last saw a sunny beach). It's given me a whole new perspective on what I'm doing and what I want to be doing. I realized that I haven't kept much of you up to date so here's a quick breakdown:

- We're almost 10 tracks into the Lax album and I'm very proud of what we've got so far. Still my main priority.
- I'm working with Leo from Saboteur Musique and really excited about that. It was a secret project we'd been working on for about a year and a half but we're ramping it up now. Check it out: thebrash.com.
- Tony (Kidstatik) and I have decided to remaster some tracks that many of you heard a few years back when we were actively playing around town. I can't believe some of the stuff we produced back then. ;)
- DJ Bliss and I have added 3 wicked tracks to our collection. Check out his myspace account for news on that (DJ Bliss)

So yeah... pretty busy.

Happy new year everyone! This one feels really good. I'm doing music full time and really happy with what I've managed to produce. Also beefed up the studio so look out 2007, the Freq is coming!
